We are on board but going nowhere due to a seat cushion issue. Right now our departure time is delayed but we could still make it by 10:10 if we get off the ground soon. Please monitor flight at united.com.

Kayaking and Lunch in Monterey

The marine layer kept us cool for kayaking, but the sun came out for lunch on Fisherman's Wharf. Off to the tide pools in Los Lobos now!

Our Last Day Begins

We are off to kayak in Monterey Bay and explore tide pools at Point Lobos State Park. Then, our last bus ride to San Fran will get on the road around 4:00 PM. Our plane is currently on-time, but if anything changes, we will send updates via the blog. Here they are waving to you 😍

A little pool time, a little literature, a little marine biology...

They are loving life at The Monterey Bay Aquarium

The jellyfish, octopus, sharks and otters have been real hits, and our kids are learning a whole lot about rocky and sandy shore habitats. A little bit later, they will see a kelp forest feeding, which will be a wonderful tie-in to kayaking in a kelp forest tomorrow.
